One – You can make so much more money. If you’re working for someone else, your pay is basically capped. You might get a raise once a year. But you know it (and I know it): your boss is making much more than you.

If you want to get past an hourly wage, you need to get your license.

Two – Even if you’re not trying to build a million dollar construction business (though we highly recommend you do), if you have your contractors license, you can do side gigs of all kinds.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

It’s the same whether you’re getting a general b or a general a or any of the specialty licenses: plumbing, electrical, finish carpentry, painting, HVAC, refrigeration, fire sprinklers, drywall, and so on and so on.

You must have four years of experience.

You must have one person sign off on your application verifying your experience.

That’s it. That’s all.

Corporations.

Before you send your application, you must decide what kind of business structure you want to be. We recommend you become an S-Corp.

We also help contractors file their S-Corps.

We charge an additional $1,200 to file your S-Corp papers for you so you can become an official CORPORATION in the state of CALI.
