We’re based in Cerritos, CA, right off the 91 or the 605 freeways depending on your point of origin. So if you’re from Compton, Cerritos, Lakewood, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Long Beach, Lynwood, Anaheim, Whittier, Los Alamitos, Norwalk, Bellflower, Cypress, Downey, or La Habra or wherever (maybe you want to commute two or three hours to our school because you have some podcasts to listen to) you’re in luck.

ENROLLING NOW

We’re currently taking enrollments.  The classes will be every Thursday at 7pm.  Fun fact: 7 o’clock is when the best contractor schools start their classes. Fun fact: we’re the best contractor school.

It’s a four week program.  Yes, it only takes four weeks.  In four weeks, if you do all the homework we give you and attended our four classes, you’ll have studied everything you need to study and you’ll be ready to pass your state exams.

Sounds pretty cool, right? You want to enroll, don’t you?

Well, it’s easy.

You can sign up online.  Or you can give us  a call, set an appointment, or just talk about the weather.  Unlike some businesses, we like the weather.  Especially rain, sun, sleet, and snow. (this is an attempt at a joke. if it’s not funny–and it probably isn’t–please don’t say anything. the writer of this article is very insecure.)

WHAT DO YOU NEED

Only one thing:

1 – You must have four years of experience in the trade of your choice.

What does this mean?

It means that you must have four years of experience doing a specific trade, be it general b, electricity, plumbing, framing and carpentry, concrete, finish carpentry, roofing, landscaping, etc…

If you want to get your HVAC license, you must have four years experience doing HVAC.

Make sense?

You can gather that experience from working for a licensed contractor, or doing the work yourself (even though that is illegal). What I’m saying is this — even if you did the work yourself, acting as your own business, the state wants you to get licensed so they’ll count your experience even though you shouldn’t have been working in that capacity.

If that doesn’t make sense, give us a call. And we may confuse you even more. Just kidding. Our workers are good at answering questions.

TECHNICALLY, there are a few more things you need other than four years of experience.

2 – You must be 18 years or older.

3 – You must have a valid SSN number or ITIN number.

And that’s it.

If you have those three things, you’re ready. And so are we.
