How To Get Your License In Two Easy Steps.

1 – Apply to take the tests. You apply through CSLB. It’s relatively easy. (We’ll walk you through it. It’ll be like Disneyland but without the churros, unless you want to buy some churros).

2 – Pass the tests.

Those are the two main steps.

The entire process from start to finish takes about 3-6 months. Some people get it done in 2.  It kinda depends on how long the state takes to process your application.

But how do I verify my experience, you ask?

You get one or more persons to sign your application (certify) to verify that you have the required four years of experience in the trade in which you are trying to get your license.

And it truly is that simple.

Every once in awhile, in some cases, they require additional verification in the form of W-2s or invoices (if you’re claiming the status of self-employed).
