  How To Get Your Contractors License In San Diego

When I think of San Diego, I think of San Diego. And you can quote me on that.

I also think of the fact that if you get your contractors license your life is going to improve in almost every way, shape and form.

How do I know that?

Because we’ve graduated thousands of students.

Now, of course, just because you get your license doesn’t mean everything is going to go well for you. But it does mean that you’re taking a risk. It means that you’re making moves. It means that you’re taking action rather than just thinking or contemplating.

The important thing is forward motion.

Getting your license requires two steps.

Step one: do it. Make it happen.

Step two: pass the state tests.

To accomplish step two all you must do is apply for the state tests (a trade a law test) through the contractors state license board (otherwise known as CSLB) and then pass the tests.

In order to pass the tests you must study.

Luckily, we offer great study options.

After all, we’re a contractor school.

We have a location in Chula Vista, but if you don’t want to take our classes in person, you can taken them online through our online course.

Here’s the basic difference: the online course includes live-streamed classes over Zoom. And the home study program grants you access to pre-recorded video of our classes. With either option you get the same practice tests (for the trade and the law) as well as the same books.

Now, when I think of San Diego, I think of the fact that I was born there. And the fact that I love Chula Vista (which I know isn’t technically San Diego but whatever) and the fact that I tried to hang from that bar at Mission Beach and win the record but that I lost. That’s how it goes sometimes.

But you’re not going to lose.
