This is all you need to become a successful contractor. As long as you're going for a C61 license you will only need to take the Law test.
PROCESS TO GETTING YOUR LICENSE AND PASSING THE EXAM
We break down the process in more detail once you begin. But the basics go like this.
Since you'll be homestudy you can practice on your own time and send your application when you're ready.
That's right there's an application but don't stress we provide all the necessary assistance to ensure it is as smooth as possible.
From there you will receive a test date and pass with flying colors!
Along the way, we are a resource for you, but since we can't see you in person you can contact us through our helplines.
You must have a business entity before submitting your application. Whether that is a corporation or sole proprietorship, is up to you. We recommend S-Corps. You will learn more about that later.
AFTER THE TEST
Once you pass the test you will need to get a surety bond. This usually costs around $100 for the year and is necessary for you to receive the license.
The second thing you must get is a Livescan. This can be done at at any livescan service for less than $100.
