We’re a Contractor License School based in Southern California (which, like mentioned above, is the best place in the entire country, other than maybe a certain island in the pacific known for its around the year good weather and beaches). In SoCal, we have great weather, beaches, and the best people.

Including you. And you’re looking to get your contractors license, right?

It’s what we do: Help contractors get their licenses. But we don’t stop there. We want to help you establish your business the right way so that you can reach your dreams: of having your own license and your own construction company.

We’re located right off the 805 or the 5, depending on where you’re coming from.

ENROLLING NOW

Our classes are always enrolling and you can jump in any week. We have four classes total and we host them once a week, every Tuesday at seven o’clock PM. Basically, none of the classes build on each other so it doesn’t matter when you begin.

At the end of the four weeks, if you do all the studying we require from you, you’ll be ready to pass the state tests and get your license. For many students, they need to repeat the classes at least once (especially if English isn’t there first language. In Chula Vista, many of our students speak Spanish) to be completely ready to take the tests. When that’s the case, we don’t charge anything if you need to repeat the classes (for up to 6 months).

WHAT DO YOU NEED

Only yourself. You must be over the age of 18 and have a valid SSN or ITIN (if you don’t have an SSN). Other than that you must have four years of experience in the trade in which you want to receive your license.

For example, if you want your HVAC license you must have four years doing HVAC, either for a contractor or on your own. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been doing it on your own (even though that’s illegal) — it will still count towards your experience. Remember, the state requires you to be licensed to do work over $750 (labor and materials).

You probably already know that and that’s why you’re here.

Now, if you want your general b license, you must have general b experience.

Because there are a lot small details: you have to get a surety bond (what the heck is that? you know what I mean?), you have to get a livescan, you have to pass an open-book asbestos test (it’s easy, trust us).

Point is, the entire process can seem daunting.

But we make it easy by taking you through it all one step at a time.

If you want your license, you don’t need to have it all figured out right now. Maybe you’re the kind of person who likes to plan every single part of their lives and orient themselves as well as they possibly can. That’s good. But you’re never going to fully understand everything in life without experiencing it.
